35-year-old architect Seung-Min (Uhm Tae-Woong) receives a visit at his office from a woman. Seung-Min doesn't recognize the woman at first, but then realizes the woman is Seo-Yeon (Han Ga-In). Seo-Yeon is his first love, but he hasn't seen her since his freshman year in college. Seo-Yeon now has a request. She wants to hire Seung-Min to rebuild her home on Jeju Island.
15 years ago, Seung-Min (Lee Je-Hoon) is a naive young man beginning his architecture studies in college. He first meets Seo-Yeon (Bae Suzy) in his Architecture 101 class. As they work on a class project together, Seung-Min and Seo-Yeon begin to fall in love.
Back to the present day, Seung-Min is hesitant to take Seo-Yeon's job offer. Seo-Yeon persists and even goes to his boss with her wish. Seung-Min now has no choice, but to take on Seo-Yeon's home project. Old memories of love and heartbreak will soon resurface, as they find themselves at different junctions in their lives ...
I was waiting for this movie in soon of this year because of its title. I love house and design, of course, that's my main major now.
And as the designer, i love the way that house was built, my style is modern houses which have open and wide view which can have sunlight, i totally enjoy the design in this movie. That got my score.
2 tones of Colors, one for the past and one for present, both are good, fit the atmospheres.
design in 1990s seems very exactly, that period time with things that people almost forget now. I miss that stuffs so much.
The story line about love, yes, as always topic. The difference? not much.

I don't really know what I should feel because this movie reminded me about "Like crazy" which movie i watched days ago.They're all about love, which we can't forget, which will go with us lifetime. But after "Like crazy" i can feel that love is just flashback and in this movie, that love hasn't ended. the situations are different and the feeling for each other also aren't same.
The story doesn't end by normal way it should be: back together, no, they shouldn't? The things i want is they give each another chance, only one more is enough, but they didn't. That love was ended by misunderstanding, so, why don't they just make it clean? I really hate it.And maybe because of that, we will feel more pain
Somethings we can't get back but sometime we should fight for the undone love of our life. He gave up too soon before understand her, yah, maybe he's know what he needs in his life in present time but for the past, he's still the looser.
Because the movie was so true, the story was so real in life, we can't get back everything we miss, we lose, we pass by, that why the movie is so sad at the end. This is not a story of abandoning present to chase of the past, it's about the love we had in our heart when we were young.
